I am a compassionate, down-to-earth individual with over 20 years of experience working with individuals, groups, and organizations facing stressful events in the Denver metro area. I received my PhD in Education and Social Work in 2013 and my Masters of Social Work (MSW) in 2005 from Colorado State University. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a licensed addictions counselor (LAC, who provides counseling, clinical supervision, consulting, and various training services to government and non-profit agencies along the Front Range. I currently provide trauma-informed coaching and training services to a variety of organizations including the Empowerment Program, the Colorado Parole Board, and the 18th Judicial District. I taught for 12 years in the School of Social Work at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO providing diverse instruction in clinical social work, trauma-informed care, research, and program evaluation. My practice is centrally located in the lower Highlands in Denver, CO, just a few minutes off of I-25. My office is confidential, comfortable, and provides a safe and private environment for us to meet. I am currently meeting with clients both in person and virtually.
